ABSTRACT.    New families of sharp inequalities between elementary symmetric polynomials are proven. We estimate $\sigma_{n-k}$ above and below by the elementary symmetric polynomials $\sigma_{n-k+1},\dots ,\sigma_{n}$ in the case, when $%
x_1,\dots,x_n$ are non-negative real numbers with sum equal to one.
Key words:
Elementary symmetric polynomials.
