Instructions for submission of articles

We use a copyright agreement that allows authors to retain copyright.

Papers should be submitted by electronic mail to the member of the editorial board closest to your field. (Be sure you send it to only ONE of our editors! :-)) For the convenience of authors, a guide to the areas considered by the individual editors is given here:

The papers are refereed in the traditional manner, with one anonymous referee.

Papers may be submitted in any dialect of tex but the final version should be in LaTeX. What follows is a description of the specifications for the final, published version of your paper:

Papers should be prepared according to our style specifications:

One of these specifications should be emphasized: we ask that authors prepare their papers using our own class file, nyjm.cls, but if for some reason that isn't working on your system, please use amsart.cls. For those unfamiliar with AMS-based classes, we offer a template for topmatter to flag the relevant fields.

Authors will have an opportunity to make final corrections before publication.
