Existence problems for homoclinic solutions

Abstract
The problem x˙=f(t,x), x(−∞)=x(+∞), where x(±∞):=limt→±∞x(t)∈ℝn, is considered. Some existence results for this problem are established using the fixed point method and topological degree theory.
