ICM 1998

Lecture Rooms at the TU Berlin

The following are the main lecture rooms that have been reserved for the congress. The letters refer to the buildings on the map, numbers to the seating capacity. The biggest lecture hall, the Auditorium Maximum, accommodates 1192 participants. A considerable number of the lecture rooms can be connected via video conferencing. Thus the maximum audience size for one lecture can be raised to over 2000.

In addition, there are many small rooms for seminars, as well as meeting places suitable for discussions or breaks. In building MA there are two cafeterias. There are two cafés in the main building H, the large university restaurant, the Mensa, is located next to the physics building P-N. In the month of August there are no regular university courses, so all the facilities are available for the participants of the congress.
