The 46th Séminaire Lotharingien de Combinatoire will take place in

from Sunday, March 18, 2001 (evening) 
to Wednesday March 21, 2001 (afternoon). 

Participants are expected to arrive for the dinner on Sunday and leave
after lunch on Wednesday. 


Meinolf GECK and Jean-Louis NICOLAS will give series lectures 
on the subjects of  Heck algebra and Partitions, respectively.

Situation and access

Villemanzy is located in the heart of the city, 
only 5 minutes' walk from the center, 
this former convent dating from the 18th Century, 
offers a superb view over the Rhone
and the whole of the surrounding region from its Delightful position
on the slopes of the Croix-Rousse.


1) By car
Always follow the indication "Lyon centre" or "Presque'île".

>From the north:
leave the highway A6 at "VAISE", go through VAISE in the direction LYON CENTRE,
as coming out the tunnel of CROIX ROUSSE turn to right immediately, then join
the Place TOLOZAN third road at right.


>From the south:
stay in the highway  A7 and follow LYON CENTRE, then  CROIX Rousse Pentes
then Place TOLOZAN, then Place CROIX-PAQUET, then Montée ST. SEBASTIEN


2) By train:

There are Subway (Métro), Bus or Taxi service from
Railway stations "LYON PERRACHE" and "LYON PART DIEU"  to
Villemanzy (Métro CROIX PAQUET), about 15 to 20 minutes.  

3) By Plane:
There is a shuttle bus service "Lysexpress" from
Airport "Lyon Saint-Exupéry" to the city, about 45 minutes.

about 270-290 FF (lodging) per room (one or two persons), per day.
