Let $ a$ and $ b$ be given real numbers with $ (-a, infty)$ with $ theta_{a, b} (infty)=frac{a+b-1}{2}$ and $ theta_{a, b} (-a)=a$, where $ Gamma$ denotes the Euler's gamma function.;
