On a Lyapunov Type Equation Related to Parabolic 
Spectral Dichotomy

A Lyapunov type equation characterizing the spectral 
dichotomy of a matrix by a parabola is proposed and 
analyzed. The results can be seen as the analogue of 
the classical Lyapunov stability theorems.
