From the Committee for Cooperation and Development of SEIO, we write this article with the aim of being useful to people interested in university cooperation for development, giving an overview of the topic including tools and finance opportunities. Firstly, we describe how the University Cooperation is setting inside the III Plan Director of the Spanish cooperation for development. We also present, by our understanding, some tools for the elaboration of a project proposal and, finally, we describe some financial programmes.
