- Abstract
In the first half of the 19th century the probability theory was consolidated by the introduction of the Statistics in their applications. In this sense, Quetelet's theory acquires a relevant importance in literature. Accordingly, we will try to analyze the importance of the background introduced by Quetelet as well as the valuation of his contributions.
